Seeing as you are in boston were you part of the Santa Barbra Music scene in the 90's?

I realize that for most of us it is like a book and we are all waiting for the sequel that will never come but I wonder if you have some sort of emotioanl attachement?

nope, grew up in RI and now live in Boston, so have been on the East Coast all my life. I just really liked that band and own all their cd's/imports/live stuff/acoustic stuff/yadda yadda yadda

Sublime has to be one of the most over-ratted bands ever.

Some of their stuff is great but some of their stuff makes me want to gouge my eardrums out with the nearest sharp object.

Nirvana is MUCH MUCH more overrated

Possibly, although I can listen to just about everything they put out. Not so with about half of the stuff Sublime's released.

Same here. I don't view Nirvana as having all that much talent while Sublime had talent and passion.
