I minimize a Internet Explorer window, and when I click on minimized window in the Taskbar, it wont pop up!
I have to right click and choose maximize. THis goes the same if I'm opening a new window from an already opened page, I have to right click and select maximize.
I have WinXP (Pro), GeForce 2 GTS-V, sys in sig.

Thank you for any help.

edit: After further investigation, I have found that the window I open up is actually opened up, but only the size of a few pixels, maybe one (1) to four (4) pixels...still don;t know how to solve the problem, though.

Kanalua, may sound like a stupid question, but are you overclocking your video card at all?

Yes, I am over clocking, got the GTS-V to over GTS speeds. I don;t think that is the porblem, though. Does the same at factory settings. After some more investigation, After going to the pixel that is the window, and resizing the window to a normal "restore" size, I have been able to get the windows to open to a normal size. I wonder how it got to the pixel size in the first place?

Kanalua, when I overclock my video card, sometimes weird things happen w/ certain onscreen effects, when I go back to default settings all is well, that why I asked

IE is kind of a strange app. it can remember the last size it was when you close it, but its only selective memory, meaning it only sometimes works. does it do this to any other apps?
