I might be about to buy a Viewsonic VA800 17.4" LCD, is it any good. I can't find any reviews

Anyone have experience with the VA series Viewsonic LCD's? I can't find many reviews, but would be very interested in this monitor if I can find positive reviews. I can get it for a VERY good price. I am mainly concerned about ghosting, but can't find any information on the site. It only says 3X speed LCD display, whatever that means.

funny you should post this. I was just at a lan party over the weekend and a friend of mine had that exact lcd moniter. Honestly i was pretty impressed with how well it did. there was another guy there with an lcd and his didn't hold a candle to that viewsonic. From what i could tell the few times i watched it there was little to no noticeable ghosting. I am sure there was some but with my limited experience with flat panels it is my opinion that it did a very nice job in the gaming dept. It was definately heads above the other guys 18" Gateway Branded model and it didn't need a dvi connector either as i recall. What kind of deal are you getting? i hear those normally run in the $800+ range. this guy got his for get this $350 as some kind of liquidation thing through Gateway open only to their employees. By the way both guys with the flat panels were Gateway repair techs. Both say they are good friends of mine but neither one ever calls me and lets me know when they can get those good deals on stuff like that for me.:|
