Being that Anand was from the east coast and that I go to UCLA, i never would have thought i would have met Anand Shimpi. But today, thanks to luck, I met my electrical engineering TA at a restaurant. He was hanging out with some people. As he started to leave, I said hi, and surprised to see me, he stopped and said hi. Then, suddenly remembering how I liked anandtech so much, he introduced me to the guy on his right, who happened to be Anand himself!!! I got to shake his hand! Sorry, just had to tell someone. Have a good day everyone!!!!!!! :D

Dang, i noticed it right away and being on 56k, it took time to get back to this page. you guys pointed out that typo fast!! haha :)

Okay everyone, you can all laugh at how pathetic I am!
But hell, to me meeting Anand would be far better then meeting any movie star/singer etc.

haha, well, i dont' want to give out the TA's name or class he TA'd for out of respect of privacy, but he TA'd for an undergraduate electrical engineering class at UCLA and he writes articles for anandtech. Anand was in LA on a flight stopover for a few hours and was apparently having dinner at Little Hong Kong Cafe on Sawtelle/Olympic. He's out of LA by now though! Hope this satisfies your peaks of curiosity!

Anand, I doubt you may ever read this, but it was a memorable experience meeting you! thanks for the site and everything! :)
