I think I have lost all hope on this EPoX 8kHa+. I received it last friday and when put together with a graphics card, processor/heatsink, and memory I powered up and nothing would come up on the monitor. I noticed that the LCD on the board said "C1"... now correct me if im wrong (serioulsly, correct me heh) the manual says it's a memory error? looking at my kingston ram i saw it was ECC which the manual said it did not support. fine I said, I'll order from crucial and get the problem fixed monday when I have propper ram right? wrong. I just powered it up and I get the same exact results. I've just about had it with this board, but I'm hoping that SOMEONE out there has had this same problem and can give me a little guidance. I beg of you anand members who are usually so kind with helpful answers, please help a brotha out!

I also tried powering up with the motherboard outside of the case on a cardboard box... didnt help. any guidance would be appreciated [GREATLY].

Hard drive
Ram
Video Card
Cpu

Assuming thats what you have installed.

The 1st question are....
What happens when you power on your pc?
Do the fans & lights work?
Are there any beep codes?
Can you hear the hard drive being accessed?

ram, cpu, vid card
no beeps (but im not really sure if my system speaker even works)
fans and lights power up as they should
hard drive isnt attatched

You try resetting the cmos jumper on the mobo?

I take it youve never seen the bios screen yet.
