I installed Mepis on my Vista laptop today. Vista didn't show up in Grub so I made the edits to menu.lst and Vista started to boot, but my resolution was way off and I got this screen.
What do I need to do?
 
Yes, Vista will overwrite the grub in the MBR. You should be able to boot from the mepis disk into Mepis and gain access Linux and repair the GRUB Bootloader from there.

That has to be the strangest ERROR Screen I have ever seen!
