Okay I have a 256gb mSata drive in my Asus maximus gene 3 matx board. I am using it as a boot drive. System shut down due to power outage when powered on the board no longer sees the msata drive. suggestions to trouble shoot it?

A few months after a firmware update on a M4 that drive would hang only after any win 7 update with a fast restart.
I would then set it to ide restart then go back to ahci mode till the next update.
I dont know if msata uses the same power out as a drive if it does there is a way go into bios then unplug just a wire to get it to restart.
Just search crucial form ror how to find a missing drive.
