Ok, so right now I'm driving my 92' Geo Prizm (that's not mine mind you, but it looks just like it except for the fact that everything in mine is falling apart :p). I love it, it's great, drives like a go cart yadda yadda but it's beat to sh!t and ugly as sin. I've been wanting to upgrade to new Lexus or something a little more stylish, but alas I am a poor college student and can't afford anything else.

Fortune has smiled upon me. My grandma will no longer be driving her car :(, so now I have the option of getting it. It is a 94' Buick Regal like the one pictured here except silver. It's a 10 year old car but has only a shade over 40k on it, and she was very meticulous in keeping it clean so it still has the new car smell. The interior is nice and roomy, and most importantly not falling apart like my Geo.

Is there anything I can do to this car to make it less granny-ish? I think tinting the windows (yeah omg it doesn't add performancebbq!!). Either or I'm still happy with it. I might put some spinners on it and gold trim, have a true ghetto cruiser. :p

If it comes with a 3800 series, do a swap with a S/C'd 3800 :D

How much power do the two produce (stock 3800 and the S/C version)? Just curious.

I recently acquired '95 Regal GS with 56k miles on it, and I love it - quiet, rides very nicely, easy to drive. Seats aren't terribly comfortable for extended driving though. The one time I tried it, my tailbone was sore after about 2 hours for some reason. Gas mileage isn't the greatest, either. Oh well.

That's GM and their commitment to craptastic cheap ass foam cusion & and spring coil seats. They feel good and smooshy for about 10 minutes after you drive after the lot. Then they just disintigrate into mooshed down supportless pieces of crap. Ford is much the same way. Learn from ze Germans and build a nice firm seat with solid wood inside of it. Sure it's hard when you first sit in in, but that firmness is what equates to long distance comfort and support.

Ok, and for you car audio people...do you think I can get a decent system for this starting from scratch for around $700-800? I got a buddy who works at a car audio place that can get everything at good prices as well.

*Note*: I don't know much about car audio, but I was looking into this myself just the other night :)

You should be able to. IIRC, the car has spaces for 1 5.25" on each side in the front (on the doors), and 1 6"x9" on each side in the rear. Huge trunk too, if you want to stick some bass speakers in there. You'll still have plenty of space left, IMO.
