I make a better antenna than my cable tv

So im trying to get my TV to work in my room and i connect it to the wall and its getting horrible static and i have no idea why... but then i touch the pin with my finger on the cable and it comes up looking like HDTV. I think when i want to watch tv, ill just hold the cable and touch it with my finger.

Somebody explain this (MS Dawn)... I get the same thing, especially radios... If I hold the antenaa I get great reception, better than anywhere else...

Yea, I could get alien transmissions when I got my tooth filled. In fact Im downloading satellite information from uranus

Cable in your wall is shielded specifically to avoid receiving outside signals (interference). Your body is effectively a large conductor, with extremities that are close to a lot of frequencies.
