I found a good deal on 2 racks of baby back ribs.

I cooked up those ribs in my oven tonight for supper.

Turned out great! The ribs were so tender and juicy. The meat was just falling off the bones. Not overly spicy or sweet, but a nice mild flavour.

That does not look seasoned enough. :p

Also the dumb store near me didn't have those in a non pre marinaded state. :(
So I did spare ribs which are obviously better.
But sadly no pictures.

its how I like'em.

I don't like sticky gooey ribs.

I got these for $1.97/lb. They had nearly 2 inches of meat. I might go buy another pack of these. There are 2 racks per pack.

That's a great price for baby back ribs. I rarely see them under $2.99/lb and it's getting harder and harder to find regular spare ribs for $1.99.

Its only the second time this (last?) year they were on sale at that price. Sale ends Thursday night.

Checking the package, it appears they are imported from the US and processed by IBP.

I wish they were that cheap here.
Meat where I am at retail is stupidly expensive for no reason.
I am in a "city" surrounded by around 30+ miles of farms on every side and even spare ribs are ~$2.70 /lbs. :(
I can go out to eat at some places here where I am not sure I could actually make it myself cheaper than they sell.

keep in mind these are not a regular item. I only see them when they are on sale.

Otherwise its just side ribs. They're ok, but not what I prefer.

Spend a little more time on the spare ribs at low heat and they're OK too. Plus there's more meat.
