I didn't know she had school before my work started. I thought she had told me that classes didnt start till 9:30.

Anyways, I snoozed the alarm a few times to many, and she was really pissed this morning.

She should get her own alarm or be able to take responsibility for not waking up. It's not your fault.

~~if you want to avoid a fight when she gets home.. go out and get an alarm clock for her side of the bed... write I'm sorry on the box and hand it to her when she walks in...

It's ok....tell her that she doesn't need an education anyhow. You're going to be the breadwinner in your relationship. She may act "liberated" at first and take it as an insult, but deep-down, nobody wants a career.

Good for you guys you're Shacking up! her parents must be sooooo proud. Anyway did you know the chances are that if you guys ever get married you have a greater chance for divorce than people who don't live together first.

And if she just slept over well that's a whole other story.

I would never marry somebody that I didn't live with first. How do you know if you can live with each others day to day habits if you don't know them? You dont' exactly get a first hand experience of them unless you live with the person. Why is there a greater chance for divorce if you live with the person first?

its cuz people that dont live together beforehand would rather continue their pitiful life of suffering by some religion or moral code instead of just getting a divorce and being happy

I'm just curious where you got that supposed fact from? It seems that your chance of survival in a marriage would be greater if you knew you were able to live with each other first? I mean, I'm not one to talk, I lived with my g/f for a year and it turned out to be a nightmare.....but at least we weren't married yet!!!

I'm not sure where the fact is from, but I have read that too while researching for a paper I wrote on divorces or somthin a couple years ago for one of my classes...not positive if it's true, but I can vouch for him not making it up.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that the act of cohabitating is not what makes the marriage end in a divorce, but the kind of people who cohabitate are less likely to view marriage as a life-long commitment but rather as just a higher level of commitment. That's not to say that you should stay in an unhappy marriage.
