Seems like the better choice. Although since you were gunning for the 17" I would've suggested a laptop with an 8800m GTX.

I've never liked HP consumer laptop models [pavillion] because the touchpad is very slippery LOL.

Darn "Hi Definition" is a household name now or what? It seems like every vendor use this term. And Consumers fall for it.

Wait for a Penryn notebook...it's coming in a couple weeks.

maybe not but your fingers might be slippery....remember to wash your fingers before using touchpad...right everybody?
