I made a wager on the Detroit Lions yesterday

I bet that the Lions would have more wins than the Houston Texans.

What do you guys think? Do I have a chance?

apparently the nerd-football fan cross section demographic on this board is pretty low. 🙂

I think that's pretty safe. It's a safe bet to say that the Texans will have the worst record in the league.

Lions can go 8-8 if everything goes right for them.

probably should've taken jammer though.

All I know is that I so want to go to a game at Ford Field this season! I was just at Comerica a few weeks ago and it looks like Ford Field is gonna be beautiful.

As far as having more wins than the Texans...I think as long as other teams don't figure out that they can pass on our secondary all day long we'll be alright.

🙂

you could sub the Cowboys for the Texans and probably still win 😀

You're probably safe, but then again, the "experts" are saying that the Texans aren't the "typical" expansion team. They have a lot of quality, albeit inexperienced, players. You never know. That's why they lace em up on Sundays boys.

Can't wait for the season to start. Baseball is giving me a migrane.

heres hoping they don't blow it and win 2 games again - 0-and-16 baby! that way they'd at least get the first draft pick. can you get tix to ford field yet? it'd be pretty sweet to go to a game....never been to a lions game before

they did show a glimmer of hope last year....they weren't even really ever blown out. just slim losses and bad luck i guess. hopefully the experience will help. haha why are detroit sports so lopsided? (not that thats bad - go wings!!)
