I made a mess

Do here's my problem.

I used unetbootin and created an is or whatever of linux on the same partition Windows 7

Now I can't get back into Windows to uninstall unetbootin, I tried from live mode on linux and it didn't work

Windows repair sees Windows on an unknown local disk

I've tried bcd, diskpart and something else and now my bootmgr is missing

How do I get from fixing my bootmgr, to being able to log into Windows again?

Let's get this straight. You downloaded a bootable ISO image and wanted to install it on a USB drive. Unfortunately, you mistakenly installed it to the C: drive instead of the USB drive, and this overwrote your Windows Operating System, as shown in the below image. Is this correct?

If correct, this means you overwrote your system drive C: with Unix and will need to reinstall Windows.

You may want to try to recover files from your system. Most likely they are lost but a file recovery program installed and run from another computer may be able to help, by connecting your currently overwritten C: drive to it to scan.
