I LOVE WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL Build 2462

Very stable OS. I just wish I could get a hold of Logitech XP beta drivers for my cordless mouse. Just can't live without the doubleclick feature on the thumb button.
 
Can someone give me directions as to how I could join Microsoft's beta test program? I want to sacrifice my computer for the newest stuff!

i dont know how i became a beta tester it was like when me came out they said sign up or something then i did then became a beta tester

heh 2484 hasn't come out to beta testers but it has already been leaked to warez people... 😀 you could get it from irc...but you'll have to PM me to know exactly where to get it
 
Hmm haven't seen 2484 yet, some ppl are saying its out but not the ppl i usually trust. I did just install 2481 today.
 
I have been playing with 2481 for a few days now. I have to admit I like it.

Running on my desktop I have not had any problems so far. Although it wacked my network when I accessed my wifes system running 2k. I had downloaded a file using XP and needed it for 2K so I dumped it onto hers. After that, when I tried to access her system with mine running 2K it DENIED me. I tried everything, TCP reinstall, reboots, you name it. I even swapped NICS. It worked again only after I changed users on my wifes system. I had expected the reboot to clear that up though. weird.

My laptop is another story. I can't touch any of the volume buttons or easy internet access buttons (not that I use those) without it locking up. They are right below the touchpad so that is a bit of an inconvenience.

Once it is released and the activation hack confirmed it is safe to say I will be getting a copy.

edit, I read 2489? is leaked.

I'm just waiting for my public preview to come in the mail (signed up through that June 2nd Experience Tour thing.)
