i love vinager

Vinegar is awesome, but I pretty much only like it in salad dressings and some sauces. Red wine and Balsamic are my favorites. Oh, and of course we use the white variety for cleaning coffee makers and whatnot.

it also can be used to clean out drains. Works pretty well.

Used it recently with baking soda to neutralize a hazmat/ chemical weapon situation in the garage that involved a broken bottle of fish sauce

Who craps on it? I haven't met anyone that ever does, maybe you live in a place with dumb people?

Mix it 50%/50% with water in a spray bottle and use non printed or B&W newspaper and you got some serious clean windows.

I like it on tomatoes. I keep a few kinds around. White for cleaning, and a few others to eat on stuff. I also get canned beets, pour some of the liquid out, then transfer them to a jar, and top it up with cider vinegar. It's like pickled beets without the sugar commercial products have.

really?

I use only balsamic on the salad because apple vinegar just feels like acid to me. Apple vinegar is for cleaning the grill.

I've never gotten expensive balsamic, but the cheap stuff is usually more acidic than apple. That's a big reason why I use it.
