Guess I'll be changing my channel to 2412. Back to normal 54 Mbs connection, all good, no missed beacons, no errors. Love it. Took all of 30 seoonds.

ooooh fancy! and i suppose your gateway is a 7206vxr running a npe-g1 . . . lol. never can have too much power for those acls, who knows what bogons are coming down your broadband connection!
 
nah, I'm not waving an epenis around.

just the tools available are quite nice. Cisco and proxim do make some very fine access points with high quality radios.

I was having some sluggish performance with my home wireless and decided to run a test. I still would recommend getting a good cisco or proxim access point if one wants good radios. They're cheap on ebay.
 
Yes, Cisco has great stuff...

when you get all your clien't/ AP's working together and changing channels/moving clients to shift loads/shut down rogue AP's connected to the network/etc it's pretty cool.
