I do some freelance videography, usually for non-profits. I had a weekend (Sunday) shoot, so I scheduled my gear rental to arrive on Friday. UPS attempted delivery when I wasn't home, and being that it was a $700 lens they couldn't just leave it there, so I came home to an InfoNotice.

Next attempted delivery : Monday. No me gusta, the rental had to go back on Monday! I called UPS Saturday morning and they said they couldn't do shit for me since the local office was closed on Saturday.

I drove down there and called the office, someone picked up! He couldn't help me though, as he was the only one there. He did mention that a coworker would be showing up in 15 minutes, and that he may be able to look for my package.

Broham took the slip, and checked the holding area, no dice. Then he checked the trucks. All of them. And brought me my package. Something he wasn't even supposed to do. And refused to take a single dime as a tip; I tried giving him a twenty for saving my $100 rental AND my shot, but he adamantly refused.

Stop bitching about shipping carriers.

No profanity in thread titles, please remove the annoying tapatalk signature as well. You should know better.

good for you. our people won't even leave a notice all the time, and after they don't leave it they send it back.

It was the guy rather than the company - their policy is not to let you get the stuff the same day if you miss it, have to reload the truck etc.
