tool is damn awesome, but damn, tool fanboys are annoying. maynard needs to tell them to jump off a cliff - sad thing is, i'd bet a fair number of them would!

i traded about 6 or 7 used CDs for a live album of theirs on campus once. I guess it was worth it... but I got sick of them over the years. I'm still not sick of classic MetallicA.

If the only thing I knew about TooL was how they incorporated the Fibonacci sequence in to Lateralus I would still think they were awsome.

Edit: Oh, and if you didn't know about this you're not a TooL fan. 😛

OGT please.

Where is our live DVD :| ? ? ?
I was at 2-3 of the shows they filmed at.

Me too. I resorted to getting bootlegs of concerts which are pretty crappy.

Hey, my factoid only requires a fan to know a little bit about the lyrical content itself, not the correspondence of the lyrical rhythm to a semi-obscure mathematical pattern. Soon you'll be telling us that anyone who can't draw a convincing Tree of Life in freehand isn't a true Tool fan. 😛

Agreed. Opiate is pure. I don't like their later stuff as much, but that's just me.
