I don't know if I am the only one, but when someone comes flying up behind me and wants to drive within spitting distance of my rear bumper while I am doing 45-50 in a 40 mph zone, I will purposefully slow down to exactly the speed limit, just to piss them off. Particularly if they are one of those idiots that can't seem to see the road without their headlights, foglights, driving lights and fvcking cigarette lighter lit up in my mirrors.

You know a lot of new cars have the driving lights on automatically and you can't turn them off.

And BTW you are the type who I run off of the road and into ditches and toss a grenade back for fun.

This reminds me of my neighbor, his car had a switch inside that shot gas out the pipe and ignited it, cool effect. Well we were driving down the highway and some idiot was doing 100 and came right up on our ass and wouldn't back up... So he pushes down the clutch, gives it a bunch of gas and flips the switch, a 20 foot flame shoots out and over the hood of the car behind us... the guy slammed on his breaks and stayed like 20 car lengths behind us.

Doesn't even have to be all that new of a car. The normal headlights on my 1995 Oldsmobile are always on. Fog lights are controlled by a switch, though.

I am not talking about idiots driving 50 in the left lane on the freeway. Or dweebs that can't merge, etc. etc. I am talking about driving through the little residential areas where kids are riding their bikes on 1 foot of shoulder, and there are driveways every 50 feet.

And usually, the car behind me looks like giant george adjusted the headlights also.

on older GM's you can turn them off by engaging the Parking brake a click while in park and then you start the car up, one click doesnt engage the P brake at all so no harm done and no DRLs

happened to me too on a ~6 foot wide construction detour with unpaved road, big rocks and all those fun things with me in a sedan. I was doing like 23 in the 25 at night and the asshat came up and started flashing all lights -- including brights. I promptly slowed to <10

I was in the right hand lane on the NJ turnpike going five mph above the speed limit once. I was in an area that I knew the cops regularly patrolled with radar. This car speeds up behind, starts blinking his lights, and got right on my bumper.

I figured he was trying to tell me to slow down so I started doing the speed limit. Boy was I surprised that he gave me the finger when he passed me.

My wranglers headlights are very bright even on lowbeam, so when someone thinks i'm high beaming them when I'm not, they get a nice suprise when I turn on my actual highbeams. On the note of driving lights, I have a pair of fog lights that are 100 watts a piece, if i ever met you i would let you see what real driving lights are like.

I am not a grandpa, it just so happens that I live in a town where the cops are all over the place, and I don't want to risk a ticket just because someone else wants to drive fast.

I love speed, and would drive much faster if it would not cost me so damn much money when the tickets roll in. Damn the responsibility of it all!

My truck has 4 - 500,000 candle work lights mounted on the rack, but I would never be such an idiot to shine them in peoples faces, even though they are facing backwards and would really really be annoying to those tailgating idiots.
