My 11 year old plays it on the piano. I learned half of it, but never mastered it. She mastered it and gave it a flair of her own. She rocks. :)

She goes to a school for the performing arts. It's awesome... in between academics, she gets positive reinforcement for being the creative little monster she is. She also excels at improv in drama. Sometimes I think I know what Robin William's parents must have felt like. She drives us INSANE. But then I hear her play and I think... maybe she'll make some money one day. :D

Music, It's a good thing. :) The violin has to be the hardest thing to play, but when it is played well and with heart it can lift the spirit like magic. One of my favorite bands growing up was Kansas, because of the violin and piano they included.

And thanks for the music! I am on the laptop and am enjoying it now.

If you can play the blues you can play anything.

I can't tell you how many blues jams I play in, we get some drummer kid up there from his HS jazz band and he can't play along. Sad really.

All the best musicians are just that. Catch Standing in the Shadow of Motown if you get a chance. The Motown house band, "The Funk Brothers" were a local jazz/blues band.
