I have to say I love these forums because you can post almost everything here and usually people always have something positive to say about it. But every other forum out there if you post something people put you down and say bad things about your thread and all this other crap. I also love the no thread crapping rule here... wish all other forums had that...

what no thread crapping rule? if there is one, its not enforced.
the people on this forum bash you for anything and everything. very rarely does a serious thread stay serious or on topic.

totally disagree with you.
 
Well from my experiences I have gotten more positive responses on this site vs other sites forums... many the other forum sites are freaking brutal... someone always bashing you for nothing.

Seriously, as much as I like it here and appreciate *some* of the members.. you could easily get flamed for posting a thread asking something as simple as how to bake a cake.
 
I think the difference with anandtech is that if you post a question that isn't completely stupid, you get some useful replies mixed in with the bashing and thread craps.

don't you hate it when you buy a can of "whole cashews" and the bottom 30% are just pieces that seem to have been caught in a conveyor belt in brazil? and if they aren't the tictac size pieces they look like they have salt on them to kill a small dog. anybody with me?
