I love the USPS & Dell!!

I recently ordered a new Dell and since I ordered it through the Small Bus division, I also got free shipping. When I found out it was going to be shipped USPS I was pissed. I figured it would be damaged and take longer than the quoted "3-5 days." Once the computer was dropped at the USPS by Dell, they said it would now take 5-8 days from Dec 16th. Bummer.

Today I'm at home and the post lady asks for my help because she has a computer in her truck. Sure enough it was mine and it came overnight!! I'm still shocked!! :Q

I thought Dell used UPS, not the Post Office. All Dell stuff I ever ordered came UPS.

Um, Dell is not a joke when you can order an 8250 system that normally goes for over $800 and then turn in $710 in rebates and end up with a system that costs a little over $100 with shipping/tax/everything. I mean, the damn thing has a 64MB DDR Geforce 4 MX with TV-out. That alone is probably over $50. Along with 256 mb ram, mouse, keyboard, hd, floppy, cd, mb, 2.4 GHz P4. The freaking 2.4 P4 costs over $150. I like Dell (oh and Hot Deals)

Looks like a nice box to me. I just got tired of building my own systems and I couldn't build one for that price anyways, so it was a good deal for me.

They aren't a joke when you buy them for other people so you don't have to spend time trouble shooting it.
