It's great to know that even in this our increasingly nanny state V8s are getting bigger and more powerful

If it's getting that kind of mileage, it must be one of the recent LS1 or LS2 powered models.

Being able to outrun the cops comes at a price:(

The '05's are vary nice. I bought an '05 hood for mine. But I got the '04 for such a steal that it was dumb to wait for the heavily advertised and anticipated '05. Even now, a nice '04 can be had for 23k. :( They have it where it counts, the sound, the tire burning torque, the simple pleasure of driving it... :D

I've got a line on an LS1 from a 2K Camaro. 40K. $1500. They are pulling it to install a built small block. I think I need to put it in the Porsche... :D

I think they're amazing for the money. And cheap mods make them even more amazing.

Is that really any different than the GTO?
