Houston sucks :(. I've lived there 12 years too long... Austin on the other hand.... :D

Usually all at once, but yeah :p

100 days of rain a year, on average. not so much in the summer, though we get the usual thunderstorms

Well it's over now, just rain, and lots of it. The wall cloud I witnessed only sprouted the one spinup. But there were numerous tornadoes that hit the ground in the area. It's funny that when the sirens go off everyone goes outside.

BTW: the "I love Texas" was totally facetious. this place can dry up and blow away for all i care. I snapped some pics, but you can't see shiat, damn trees.

You don't have to worry about the twisters until the first armadillo flies by. Then you need to take cover.

Just last week, terrible storms came through Austin early wednesday morning, all purple on the radar. The Oasis got struck by lightning and burnt down :(
