I love remote desktop.

So.

you just pulled your ATI 9700 out of your PC and installed your BRAND NEW Geforce 5900 Ultra. but guess what NO DISPLAY, you forgot to uninstall your ATI drivers. WHAT TO DO?

you don't want to pull everything out and install your ati card again, so you logon to your machine via remote desktop, uninstall your ati drvers, reboot and VOILA.

🙂

I have RAdmin loading as a service... so I could just use that instead of Remote Desktop. 🙂

I ssh into my home Linux server from work and use ssh's forwarding to push remote desktop packets to my XP box. I am able to use all my home computers with one login. woot.

Same here! 🙂

Due to costs...started putting VNC on the PCs at work, makes my life easier (and makes me more lazy 😀), but I would have prefered RAdmin! 😉

Confused

VNC and Terminal Services are my best friends. Most of the time I don't have to remove my lazy butt from my seat. And since I have a VPN to home I can do everything at home with my PJ's on.

That's new?

Damn, Windows is way more behind the system tools curve than I thought.

what do you mean by NEW??

Terminal services has been available since Win NT 4.0 (mb 3.5 but i know NOTHING about 3.5).

MS is pretty new to the whole Server OS thing and they've done pretty good with it if you ask me.
