talked them down from $120+tax

it sure beats a lot harder than the kicker xpl in it's little sealed box did

i hit about 5 pawn shops before i came across this little gem

:cookie: :cookie: for me

who else hits the pawnshops?

pm me if you'd like a little tip for many cash america's ;)

I haven't been in any pawn shops for a long time. Suppose it wouldn't hurt to check some out sometime though ;)

they had quite a few in a couple that i went to...lots of power tools and baskets full of bits and hand tools

LOL, i think i took their screwdriver when i was hooking the sub up to test it...i bet it's still in my trunk

oops

i usually go after jewelry and stereo equipment...and on occasion, computers if they don't know what they have and price it too low

Nice, the 12.1 should hit HARD ported.. but I'd take Kicker subs over Infinity (even Perfect's) anyday, I'm very happy and very deaf with my ported 15" Solobaric L7. :p

it hits hard...but is also a bit clearer and produces tighter, punchier bass than most 12"s

IMO anyway...this is the second one i've owned...i murdered the first one :( don't ask

I can't believe pawn shops still exist to this day, it seems that all they breed is theft because criminals know they can just sell thier crap there.

most won't take stuff without serial numbers, a few hole in the wall ones will though...

you also have to show valid government issued ID when you pawn or sell anything

stealing something and then pawning it in your own name is extremly stupid, because if the owner has the serials they can do a little research on their own and figure out where it is...most of the time the cops won't waste their time to follow up on something like that, unless it's a high-dollar item(2-3K+)

but if someone goes to the cops with proof of the serial and the pawnbroker that has it, basically doing their legwork for them, they'll certianly hem the thief up

also, many pawnbrokers do payday loans and such...pawning isn't their only business
