Most posts you see about a particular product is negative. I just wanted to post something positive about a product.
I've had alot of coolers before. Some include the Thermoengine, CAK38, FOP38 and 2 of the Vantek copper coolers, just to name some of the more recent ones. But I have yet to see on my system or anybody else's system a cooler that is nicer than my new Zalman 5001.
I know this thing has been out for quite a while, but I bought one about a month ago and have never been happier.
I run my system at stock speeds for the most part and have seen a reduction in temps of 13F compared to the best previously installed (CAK38)! I've had the cooler on a few systems in various overclocking configurations and the damn thing is usually 10F cooler than any I have tried!
Like I said, I've had the same cooler on a few different machines and the thing that really stands out is that I get these results with so little mounting effort. No risk, no difficulty and an easy fit.
I don't claim to have seen all the coolers around, but if you are looking for a great cooler, try it.
