Seriously, im enjoying the fuck out of this thing now after some initial annoyances. I like texting with the keyboard now, sending videos to youtube is fun, and i like the new headphones too. Among other stuff. Anyone else? (3GS)

Also, I can officially say I've joined the Apple iPhone family, which means that I'm better than everyone else who doesn't have an iPhone. We few with iPhones are like brothers. And I can't say "hold on a sec, I've gotta answer my phone anymore." Nay, I can only refer to my phone as an iPhone. Because that's just how we roll.

16GB in black. I was contemplating the 32GB, but seeing as how 8GB on my iPod touch was enough for me, I chose the 16GB. I think I still have 13GB left over as of present, with lots of videos and pictures! I just wish I didn't only get Edge at my university, while we get 3G at home. Night and day difference.

Enjoy it! I am one year in with my white 3G 16GB and the love affair is as strong as ever. I will wait until I've got a full two years into mine (I bought AppleCare), then upgrade to the fourth-gen iPhone.

My iPhone 3GS has become my favorite electronic device. I'm always doing something with it unless I'm working. Video, push notifications and desktop esk wifi web browsing, I don't know how I lived without it.

No, they don't. I don't think your wifi settings will affect your battery life unless you're actually using wifi.

aww that sucks...so wifi is only good for everything else then? guess i cant complain, but 3G is fast enough.

You can use a VOIP program when on wifi I believe, but voice calls don't automatically get transferred.

16gb got it Monday. I agree, this is the best phone/device all in one that I've ever had. I'm so glad I no longer carrying a phone, ipod, and pda any more.

Well, I got an itouch a year ago and dumped the ipod and pda, to combine those two, but after a year with the itouch, I decided to go to one device. Love it.

i did that too...went from an ipod touch + cell to the iPhone. it seems kinda nitpicky and maybe lame, but it definitely is nicer to not have so much shit in my pockets.

an added awesome benefit of the 3GS being faster: the ipod function is the best yet...everything loads so damn fast, changing songs is instantaneous, and everything is just much more cohesive, imo.

If you are eligible in 3 weeks then you can get one now. AT&T announced that anyone eligible through october can get one now at the upgrade price.

Nah tried that, thats ONLY for people who got a subsidized 3g. I got a tilt then bought my 3g off ebay. Doesn't make any sense really.

just finding it hard to justify the out of pocket expense when my 3G is serving me just fine .. I could care less about the video ... maybe the added size and speed would be great, but 200+ out of my pocket? Someone convince me ...

Really like the added speed, but the real reason to grab the 3GS is the camera. If you don't care about the camera at all.. then I would stick with the 3G and just grab the 4G when it comes out next year.

same here. had an 5G 30GB ipod and my cell phone and thought that was okay for a while, then got an ipod touch 16GB with my htc touch pro (worst cell phone ever made btw), and while i was in love with the touch, i hated the fact of just going back to my phone for texting/calling, so i said screw it and got an iphone this past monday. never regretted it one bit. 32GB of storage with a phone and everything i ever need in a device? yes please. :)

Just got my 32GB iPhone and all I can say is wow. This is coming from a Nokia E71 user. This thing is fantastic!
