I love my Dell "QuietKey" keyboard! Who makes this KB?

I have tried them all. The split-side ergonomic POS. The rubbery soft touch watachmacallit thing. Even used a wireless KB for a spell. They just don't have the positive-clickety-response-thing the Dell KB has. I have three of these KBs...one I bought and the other two were donations from folks that HATED them.

I don't need/want a KB with 34 different rolly-things for volume control, nor do I need hotkeys for my email/internet browser....I can use themouse just fine for that, thanks. I like a nice, simple, functional keyboard.

Do you like your QuietKey keyboard? :D

I think Logitech makes those keyboards.

Wow...that is old. If I can assume that I'll get that kind of usage out of these that I have, I am a happy man. :) Mine all have the Windoze keys.

It's either NMB, Chicony, or Silitek - definitely not Logitech.

If you're referring to the newer black QuietKey keyboards, than yes. The older beige ones are a bit too "clicky" for me.

I loved my QuietKey board so much I bought two more from here.

The ones I bought were refurbished though. The ones they're selling now just say they've been "tested."

Now that Microsoft actually put out a halfway decent version of the keyboard software my Natural Pro isn't too bad.

I believe it's logitech as well... I personally own a Microsoft Natural Keyboard....the maxed out one with a built-in USB hub... :D I like it a lot. If it weren't for my KVM, I'd be using one of my quiet keys. ;)

I work with the guys that develop the Quietkeys so maybe I'll point them to this thread. :)

I agree. The old beige keyboards are very clickity but the newer black quietkey keyboards are nice and quiet, good feedback from the keys.

My dad used to swear by Northgate keyboards in the late Eighties, early Nineties. Did Northgate become NMB or Keytronic? Regardless, ol' dad (who used to use VT220 terminals back when they were brand new) says they just don't make 'em like they used to.

I've been using the old beige one for years and I love it for a cheap keyboard :)

I need a big Enter key, and keyboards with those are few and far between (all the ones I've used have been loud :( ). Hell, I even used a Packard Bell keyboard for a while, though I put electrical tape over the logo. :D

I know exactly what you all mean.

Several years ago I ran across keyboard which came with older Compaq computer and instantly felt in love with that keyboard. It is quiet, has CD and volume controls, power button (to turn on and turn off PC), as well wrist rest, which makes the keyboard even more convinient. The best part of those additional keys is that they're made from rubber, so I can easily locate them in the dark without even looking at them.

If anyone who's interested, the keyboard is Compaq SK-2700, here is the picture of it.

I like the Microsoft Office keyboard very well.. It's not totally quiet, but still has a little noise. Also, the buttons all over the place are nice.. I'm lazy. :p

I hate those "Natural" keyboards.. not natural at all for me.
