mangos are one of my favourite fruits!!

Asian countries have dozens of varieties of mangoes...

the ones that we have here are not as good

Growing up, my family had 2 large mango trees in the backyard, it was pure heaven!! I love mangos!

i agree...american mangoes are not good. i buy the marathon brand from the Indian stores, i think they're from mexico.

philippine mango is the best
when i was there in 99 i'd eat about 6 mangos per day

i buy mexican mangos whenever i get the chance, but they're only available here about once a year for a week or so
they're not as sweet and soft, but still very good

I lived in Brazil for a few years and they have like 15 types of mango. I could buy them at the local street market for 10 for about an american dollar! I would eat them all the time. They're my favorite!!!

yeah...there are like 50 varieties with their individual peculiarities...some good for eating, some for cooking with, some for making awesome milkshakes out of.... all good though
