Just got back from our 5 day whirlwind trip to Las Vegas, and I STILL love that town. It is my second 5 day trip there this year. Now I am just a stupid tourist, and I know that I dont have to live there on a daily basis, and put up with all the crap. But honestly, I love the concept of the town, its all built on dreams and the dreams of people to get something for nothing.
Liberal gambling, liberal drinking laws, nightly nude reviews, being handed hookers phone numbers on the street, bars open all night, people doing something 24x7. You know there are so many sad stories, but there are also so many interesting stories, and new people to meet in Las Vegas. I had a guy buy me beers all night after rolling 12 at the craps table, I had another guy give me $40 after rolling 4 6's in a row.
I took my digi-cam, but didnt feel like carrying it around, but saw tons of stuff for cool pics. Sweet Lamborghini parked in front of The Palms resort (which BTW has the ugliest limos in town). My hotel, The Rio, had a silver 350Z in the lobby, and some oblivious (or exhibitionist) lady standing up on the second floor wearing a skirt and no underwear, that drew a bigger crowd than the 350Z
Caesars Palace always has a row of Mercedes parked out in front, with their limos. Tons of hookers plying their trade ( there was a single guy with us and another couple, the single guy was a magnet for the hookers.)
My only complaints are, they need to loosen the slots
and the greywater system still needs a little refining to be a viable irrigation solution :disgust: I think they are removing the circle drive in front of Caesars...this personally ruins the place for me. When I grew up every movie I watched that had Vegas in it, had the Caesars circle drive in the movie. I wish you could still drive down Fremont, I love gambling downtown.
To top it all off, we got rained on walking down the strip at 3:00AM...I thought we were in the middle of the freekin' desert here.

EDIT
Oh yeah, whats is it with large groups of single guys. Is it an unwritten law that if you yell really loud it automatically means you are having more fun?
