Pretty sad what is viewed as "beauty" and "talent" these days. Maybe I'm showing my age, but I find nothing attractive about her or her "music". I suppose if you're into haggard-looking women with zero talent, I could see why you'd be fantasizing about Kelly Clarkson.

Um FYI, she won american idol so I can't really see how she could be consider for example like a "britney spears".

To my knowledge, those aren't doctored. She may have makeup on all but #5 but I wouldn't consider that "doctored".

I like her image... the rocker image for her... especially her VMA performance when she jumped in there with the crowd and the water... that fits her well... she should make a transition.

If you like her, that's fine. I was just giving my opinion -- more power to you. But, for the record, if you're relying on "America" telling you who has talent, I can only point you to (as you said) Britney Spears, N-Sync, all Rap, and well Country Music while we're at it. America likes all these too, but none of them have talent, and none of them appeal to my taste. But to each his own. Enjoy Kelly.
