So I am a TA for the economics and finance department. All the TAs in here are from Economics background. Luck of the draw and I got to TA for the course Financial Statement Analysis. I've taken only two introductory accounting courses. So this Chinese New Year break I've been studying for the material for this course. This just reinforces my distaste for accounting. What a bunch of time wasting mumble-jumble.

The only good thing coming out of this is that I can probably go take on the CFA level 1 test after preparing for these tutorials.
Sucks for the students in my tutorial who've gotten an incompetent tutor.

With great power comes great responsibility, last semester I gave the cute girls with better grades. I was TAing for a Macroeconomic Theory course and I was doing great. This semester.... ugh. A quarter of the class are from accounting major.

When I was a ta for cs classes i would try to help anyone who ask for help. A good ta can make or break a hard class.
