So I've spent a combined total of about 30 hours of my time plus about 2 hours worth of per-incident tech support trying to trouble shoot a VPN tunnel issue. I even take the tech support suggestion and purchase a $1000 product that they say is "necessary" to get my issue resolved.

After 30 hours and $1000 of monkeying around it STILL doesn't work.

In an act of frustration I dump my VPN policies on both devices and try it from scratch...for the 100th time.

By some act of the pagan lords the tunnel actually starts working like it's supposed to.

Why. I have no I idea. It just does now. And I didn't even need the $1000 upgrade.

Bah!

I'm going home and having a beer.

And you're damned right I want a cookie. Peanut butter please.

Makes you real comfortable about supporting it in the future, doesn't it?

We will have no talk such as that 😉

I agree. It'll be fine... now you just need some pimple faced n00b to put in charge of 'administering' it and all your bases will be covered 😉

I think it was Einstein who said insanity was doing the same thing repeatedly while expecting different results.

Einstein obviously never had to do any computer troubleshooting.

Yep.

And the original quote was about stupidity, not insanity.
