If there's one thing that I don't understand would be why you need all of the following:


An iPod Nano.
An iPod Shuffle.
An iPod Photo.
And a regular iPod.


Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind an iPod, myself. However, there's no need to own all four of those. A guy in my class brought in all 4 to prove he had all 4? Give me a break.


When does brandwhoring become too much? Discuss.
 
I could see the following buying process:

iPod (regular)
iPod photo when they came out to show pictures
iPod shuffle for running
iPod Nano because it is what the mini and shuffle should have been

It could make sense... he might just be a collector. If I were him, i would have sold the regular iPod after buying the photo, and sold the shuffle after buying the Nano. The photo and the shuffle have distinctly different applications.

i'd love if my ipod more if it hadn't broken....the hard drive's screwed.....spins up, clicks, stops....repeats until the battery is dead. it was awesome while it lasted though🙂
