I love gmail threads/conversations

Yeah, I think it is kind of handy too. In fact, I've wondered why e-mail doesn't do this more often. What they should do is merge e-mail with the nature of IMs (in which all messages stay in one "conversation" based on who it is you are talking with). So rather than all the e-mail from a person being put in one large bin (the Index folder), it would put all e-mails from one person in a "folder" or conversation dedicated to that person so that you could instantly view all previous conversation you've had with them.

when I first started using gmail, it seemed like the most annoying thing in the world, but now, it provides me with an increadible amount of amusement by being able to read a days worth of emails in under 20 seconds 🙂

edit: 100% more poll

Why did you think it was the most annoying thing in the world? The very first moment that i saw how it worked, i knew that it was a great concept (infact, i had wished for years for emails to be properly threaded... but gmail method is even better).

Yeah, only problem with it is you can't break up the threads if you wanted to, they dont' have that feature (yet anyway, dunno if it'll be added)

I actually like this feature a lot. I have emails that have 20+ replies and its nice not to have to search back to find them.

Actually, that brings up a question... has anybody has threads that are like 100+ msgs long, and gmail automatically breaks them up? I'm not even sure they reach 100 msgs... i've had some broken up at 60-70.

What's up with your "self love" category? 🙂

I email crap to myself all the time. like, if I come across a great website at work that I'd like to visit at home (since my work pc has no sound/crappy video) or need to remind myself of something.
