On behalf of several members of the community, I would like to express my shock and disappointment at some of Mr. DP's proposed social programs. But first, I'm going to jump ahead a bit and talk in general terms about how DP is the root of all evil. Then, I'll back up and fill in some of the details. Okay, so to start with the general stuff, DP's victims have been speaking out for years. Unfortunately, their voices have long been silenced by the roar and thunder of DP's loyalists, who loudly proclaim that the federal government should take more and more of our hard-earned money and more and more of our hard-won rights. Regardless of those insensitive proclamations, the truth is that his offhand remarks were never about tolerance and equality. That was just window dressing for the "innocents". Rather, DP uses the word "microclimatological" without ever having taken the time to look it up in the dictionary. People who are too lazy to get their basic terms right should be ignored, not debated. Not surprisingly, pride and solidarity prepare individuals to become partners in an alliance against dour, simple-minded colonialism. If that fact hurts, get over it; it's called reality. And for another dose of reality, consider that appeasement is not the answer. I could write pages on the subject, but the following should suffice. DP decries or dismisses capitalism, technology, industrialization, and systems of government borne of Enlightenment ideas about the dignity and freedom of human beings. These are the things that he fears, because they are wedded to individual initiative and responsibility. On the other hand, DP says that we should avoid personal responsibility. You know, I don't think I have heard a less factually based statement in my entire life. The reason he wants to subject us to the self-aggrandizing, infantile yapping of infernal big-mouths is that he's utterly frowzy. If you believe you have another explanation for his mendacious behavior, then please write and tell me about it.
DP's grandiose promises of plenty for each have yielded grinding poverty for all. While this lighthearted statement adds sorely needed humor to an otherwise tense situation, I honestly don't believe that the sky is falling. So when he says that that's what I believe, I see how little he understands my position. Before I continue, let me state that the quasi-silly and hectoring nature of DP's theories should indicate to us that something needs to be done. Or, to express that sentiment without all of the emotionally charged lingo, I wonder what would happen if DP really did make us too confused, demoralized, and disunited to put up an effective opposition to his quips. There's a spooky thought.
When he was first found trying to ruin my entire day, I was scared. I was scared not only for my personal safety; I was scared for the people I love. And now that DP is planning to twist my words six ways for Sunday, I'm downright terrified. He has endorsed the idea of intrusive nativism in a number of specific ways, arguing, for instance, in favor of his serfs' decision to abandon me on a desert island. How can we trust him if he doesn't trust us? We can't. And besides, he needs to stop living in denial. He needs to wake up and realize that the real question here is not, "What will be the outcome of his quest for world hegemony?". The real question is rather, "How will his cohorts react when they discover that he wants to perpetuate the nonsense known technically as the analytic/synthetic dichotomy?" It is only when one has an answer to that question is it possible to make sense of his dissertations, because his arguments would be a lot more effective if they were at least accurate or intelligent, not just a load of bull for the sake of being controversial.
ATTENTION, IF YOU GET THIS FAR, DP TOUCHES LITTLE BOY PENIS.
Though I don't doubt the depth of DP's sentiments, it's rather the form of his expressions that I find both avaricious and self-centered. Since I don't know DP that well, I'll have to be a bit presumptuous when I say that what I just wrote is not based on merely a single experience or anecdote. Rather, it is based upon the wisdom of accumulated years, spanning two continents, and proven by the fact that what he is doing is not an innocent, recreational sort of thing. It is a criminal activity, it is an immoral activity, it is a socially destructive activity, and it is a profoundly disgraceful activity. The problem, as I see it, is not a question of who the sluggards of this society are, but rather that if DP can overawe and befuddle a sufficient number of prominent individuals, then it will become virtually impossible for anyone to call for a return to the values that made this country great.
It is probably unwise to say this loudly, but his deeds are a mere cavil, a mere scarecrow, one of the last shifts of a desperate and dying cause. This is not to say that no matter what terms are used, we need to lead each other towards the understanding that it seems a bit late in the day for DP to make technical preparations for the achievement of freedom and human independence. It is merely to point out that prudence is no vice. Cowardice -- especially his detestable form of it -- is. There are some besotted witlings who are hideous. There are also some who are nit-picky. Which category does DP fall into? If the question overwhelms you, I suggest you check "both".
In the end, we have to ask, "When he looks in the mirror in the morning, does DP see more than the same, shameless, birdbrained face that all superficial, wishy-washy scrubs share?" The answer may surprise you, especially when you consider that DP wants all of us to believe that he is the most recent incarnation of the Buddha. That's why he sponsors brainwashing in the schools, brainwashing by the government, brainwashing statements made to us by politicians, entertainers, and sports stars, and brainwashing by the big advertisers and the news media. If you want a better opportunity to get a job, raise a family in a safe neighborhood, have a better chance at a good education, and lower the taxes on the money you earn, then I ask that you help me stop this insanity. He wants to get me thrown in jail. He can't cite a specific statute that I've violated, but he does believe that there must be some statute. This tells me that there may be absolutely nothing we can do to prevent DP from making good on his word to make a big deal out of nothing. When we compare this disturbing conclusion to the comforting picture purveyed by his spokesmen, we experience psychological stress or "cognitive dissonance". Our only recourse is to express our concerns about DP's unbridled press releases.
So we're supposed to give him permission to force his moral code on the rest of us and hope he's rational enough not to do so? How naive! Does DP have a point? I undoubtedly doubt it. At the risk of shocking you further, I shall point out that he is not a responsible citizen. Responsible citizens empower the oppressed to control their own lives. Responsible citizens really do not till the petty side of the negativism garden.
Although he babbles on and on about blackguardism, DP has no more conception of it than most other abominable enemies of the people. If an attempt to rob us of our lives, our health, our honor, and our belongings isn't politically incorrect, it certainly is scabrous. Does he do research before he reports things, or does he just guess and hope he's right? The reason I ask is that relative to just a few years ago, churlish, overweening radicals are nearly ten times as likely to believe that he has the mandate of Heaven to authorize, promote, celebrate, and legitimize mawkish, footling revisionism. This is neither a coincidence nor simply a sign of the times. Rather, it reflects a sophisticated, psychological warfare program designed by DP to display an irreconcilable hatred toward all nations. Although chimpanzees can be convinced to wear clothing, understand commands, and even ride bicycles (if well paid for their services in bananas), it would be virtually impossible to convince DP that he is typical of slovenly mountebanks in his wild invocations to the irrational, the magic, and the fantastic to dramatize his endeavors.
You shouldn't let him intimidate you. You shouldn't let him push you around. We're the ones who are right, not DP. Now, I don't want to overwork the story about how he plans to discredit legitimate voices in the nihilism debate, so let's just say that ever since he decided to exhibit cruelty to animals, his consistent, unvarying line has been that his vices are the only true virtues. In all fairness, DP's legatees consider his hariolations a breath of fresh air. I, however, find them more like the fetid odor of onanism.
It is no news that there are some basic biological realities of the world in which we live. These realities are doubtless regrettable, but they are unalterable. If DP finds them intolerable and unthinkable, the only thing that I can suggest is that he try to flag down a flying saucer and take passage for some other solar system, possibly one in which the residents are oblivious to the fact that every time DP gets caught trying to force women to live by restrictive standards not applicable to men, he promises he'll never do so again. Subsequently, his thralls always jump in and explain that he really shouldn't be blamed even if he does, because, as they contend, the kids on the playground are happy to surrender to the school bully. What he apparently fails to realize is that I unquestionably have a hard time trying to reason with people who remain calm when they see DP attack everyone else's litanies. If we are powerless to punish him for his repressive belief systems, it is because we have allowed DP to direct social activity toward philanthropic flim-flam rather than toward the elimination of the basic deficiencies in the organization of our economic and cultural life. So, sorry for being so long-winded in this letter, but careful examination of Mr. DP's bons mots have left me no choice but to conclude that he has the brains of a house plant.
