I'm in Wisconsin now. Earlier this year, I was in Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, etc. I LOVE the midwest. Beautiful corn fields, rolling hills, perfect scenery, nice people ... and country music! =)

Honestly, I wish I could find some other "pretty places" like this to hang out.

And no, this is not a joke.

I'm a Madison native, and I love it in WI. Especially a little farther upstate with all the lakes and forests and hills... it's beautiful.

edit: just wait till the trees start changing and the frost comes. I love it. My dad has just under 200 acres in north central WI, and I go up there sometimes to help him out with various projects. So nice.

And fishing, camping, kayaking, discing, and beer.

Oh, did I mention we have some of the best microbrews in the world?

i wiether want to move southern IL or into northern WI..

in southern IL there are lakes and trees. in northern Wi you have tree, hills etc. but in either i would like 20+ acres

i could survive the snow if i had to heh.

I guess you've never been to Columbus then.

@ the OP.. I don't think it's fair to associate the midwest with country music.. I certainly don't know anybody here who even likes it. :)

Try the South next time you go on a trip. :D
