What's the best canned clam chowder? Campbell's Chunky?

I don't know about the best, but I've always liked progresso.
Ewww, way too watery.
Agreed

Progresso = watery. Campbell's ready to serve is the best. No adding of anything.

This cannot even come close to Fresh Choice/Quiznos though. Wow. Toob ad Quiznos stopped their clam chowder like last fall or early winter 05.

Yep its on the thinner side but fresher tasting imo than some of the artificially pasty chowders.

I like it thicker too but not at the expense of quality. Nothing against Chunky...its just not as good imo.

edit: btw, some of the best NE style restaurant chowders are on the thinner side as well...thickening it is easy, but making it fresh tasting is much harder to do. Sometimes restaurants make it thicker in the summer, and thinner in the winter.
