I love Chipotle even more!

I read about a promotion for a buy 1 get 1 free burrito at Slick Deals and went to my local store on Sunday to do the buy 1 part. The store claimed to have no knowledge of the promotion and had no signage for it anywhere. I was saddened but at least I had my burrito I bought to eat. I returned home and sent feedback to their web site and figured it would go into a black hole or I would get a nebulous auto-reply and never hear back. Apparently, they take things seriously at that company and they called me today and apologized. They will be sending me two coupons for free burritos!

I got burned out with that place real quick. I always had to get them from stuffing too much rice in the burritos.

They killed earnings. up 12% in AH.

Food stocks usually are hot in the beginning but eventually either do well over time or crash and burn.

Losers:

Boston Chicken (bankrupt, bought by McDonalds)
Krispy Kreme (bad shape)
Schlotskys (bankrupt)
Panchos Mexican Buffet (bankrupt)

Winners:

Brinker International
McDonalds
Wendys

Kicked around but never public:

Burger King (will go public eventually and then will go bankrupt)

Chipotle style food is the new fast food. It's great, moderately priced, highly specialized, and they have really good customer service.

funk them for charging a $1.xx or whatever for guacamole. $7-8 for a burrito after guacamole? pfft get outta here.

I miss Schlotsky's

the promotion is between sunday and tuesday. If you buy a burrito before then, keep the recept, and fill in the little game thing on the tray cover. Staple the receipt to that cover, and present it next week for a free burrito!

with that said, 1.40 guacomole is waay too expensive. Free drink with a student ID (looked like house rules, though)

They rock, but then I eat for free there. Even if I didn't get it for free I would still eat there. I get half the rice and extra steak even at eight bux its worth it for me.

wow thats great customer service

I had the same thing happen to me earlier.
So I just decided to send them an email after being inspired by this post, and 10 minutes ago they just called me and were like "sorry, the next time you come in, we will give u a free meal on us"
hmm now a free meal, that can constitute 5 burritos 6 guacamoles, and 6 bags of chips as I weigh 4000 pounds and can eat all that and I consider that a meal.
