I love booze

I like hard liquor. Rum, Tequila, Vodka...etc..etc..
I am going to go to the liquor store today and I want to try something new.
I tried brandy, but it made me feel ill. Gin is meh.

I know there are a few drinkers on ATOT and I know you guys and gals know whats best to get.
Just recommend your favs. I will look em up and buy one of them.

Single Malt Scotch or Maker's Mark (there are other hand-crafted Kentucky Whiskies that are as good).

how about some Knob Creek (bourbon)? i have a friend who drinks that and he says it warms him up nicely.

Ooh that sounds good. I take shots but on the rocks is good too. I am not looking to get f'ed up, just have a good time and get a buzz. Maybe watch a movie a chill with my friends.

No, a bit woody. Both single malt and bourbon have the oak going on. Single Malts use old bourbon barrels (except for the Glenmorainge (sp) ones that use various other casks such as Sherry to finish in).

If you like the dark rums, have you tried Black Seal? Not too much of a stretch if you chicken out. Glen Fidditch or Glen Livet are easy starters in Single Malts. Knob Creek is one of the ones in the refined class with Maker's Mark and is just a little above MM in finish IIRC.

glenfiddich makes a 21 year old single malt thats aged in old rum casks, its very excellent

I don't really think the increased price of Knob Creek over Jack Daniels is justified.

no but its 1/2 as strong and stll tastes like fire

i used to do shots of 151 in college lol

whiskey and burbon are similar Scotch IMO being the best whiskey
