I love Acrobat!

Anyone else enjoy that sweet sweet feeling as your web broswer locks up for a good 5-10 minutes while an acrobat file is opened while in the middle of the download? And top top it all off, it keeps running in the background even after your done with the PDF. I would have thought Adobe would have the problem fixed by the time Acrobat 7.0 came out, but I guess not...

Keep up the good work Adobe!

Acrobat docs irritate the crap out of me, especially when stupid companies use them for EVERYTHING on their site, like a one page menu or something... Thanks for the 2MB file! Have a nice day, I'll get my pasta somewhere else.

what you need is a faster connection and acrobat 7.

6 sucks a@@

I'm on a corporate network with acrobat 7. I'm also on a 2.8GHz machine. I cant get much faster.

It blows. I also hate it when it sometimes downloads it rather than opening in my browser or when ctrl+w won't close the tab that it's on.

I also love that the link im trying to open, can only be done from inside Lotus Notes. So not only am I trying to open an embedded PDF, im trying to open it within Lotus Notes. Now all I need is real player running in the background to pick up the trifecta of garbage software.

Version 6 was working fine for me. Serves me right for "upgrading" it. Version 7 opens a file quick enough in a browser window, but leaves something resident when you try to shut down, and doesn't close automatically. Matter of fact, it gives an error dialog box instead! :|
