😱 Got fired! And for all things harassment.

Actually I did not harass anybody me and a women where talking about red hair
and she later decided to take or say she took offense. The conversion had no reference
to s*x or any derogatory comments just talked about hair.

Well now I am off to find a new job.............. Hopefully!

Lesson learned never talk about anything at work.
 
Nope not much else to the story guys sorry and No mention of the carpet. By the way she has bleach blond hair. Just talked for a few minutes about how I like Red Hair. She took offense probably cause when she told me she had red hair I said oh I could not tell. Then I said there is another Lady that works here with red hair and she said oh she is a fake she dyes it. At the time she said nothing about anything being offensive. If you want more have to add it cause there is no more to tell.

Maybe Maybe not. But what she said about asking me if I had ever been with a redhead without me even saying anything other then I really like redheads and her saying she was quite a catch cause she is a red head I could say is harassment too.

Harassment to be offensive according to the law has to be offensive to the general public not just one person.

2 options. Both involve a lawyer, but the first will get you in prison for life if you get caught. Recommend #2.
 
I wish i could get fired from my job...but my boss has told me that as long as nobody is stupid enougth to apply for my position i am stuck there no matter how half arsed i do things, i even took a 3 week vacation with out notifying him and didn't even get a warning, the only reason i don't quit is because being on unemployement is worse than my job...barely🙁
 
And the two options are? I am not the type to take revenge or even get even. It was a crapy low paying temp job so suing is not really worth it. And she has nothing to sue for. But I was not ever told what she said.

And no I was not dating anybody but was good friends with a couple women there and thought me and the lady where friends too.
 
The first option was supposed to be implied humor, the second option is a civil suit againt the woman and your employer.
The question was because there is an "ugly woman" clause in SH code that basically says if you sleep with your hot secretary, the dumpy secretary can file SH against you for *not* sleeping with her. Sad, but true.
edit: (and it sounds like the woman was getting even with you for rejecting her advances)
 
I would just move on and try to find a better job, if you got sacked for something so minor it isn't even worth losing any sleep over. now if only i wasn't so lazy
