I'm sure you can get a replacement license, but I'm not sure about permit. Have you check the dmv website yet?

more than likely this isn't the first time someone has lost their permit and they will just make you pay something and off you go happy again

the permit they've given to you AFTER you've passed the test or the learner's permit?

if it's the temp. license you should be fine, just wait till the real one comes but i donno about learner's permit...

it is the learner's permit. the one that allows me to drive with a parent only.

so does anyone know if i can get a replacement?

Just get a new learners permit. You can get a new one in NY if you just go to the DMV and pay $40.00.

You had a drive test right.. I guess you didnt pass that.. and your permit expired..

guess the 3rd time wasnt the charm... just go get a new one issued.. you got to retake the written test.

usually if you are going to take the test they'll let you take it same day you get your permit if you really want to, so you can probably just do both the same day.
