I lost my Composite to S-Video adapter that came with my video card. I have contacted the card manufacturer and they cannot sell that part by itself. I have found several of these adapters on the web, but they cost well over $50 and seeem to be far more extravagent than the small cable adapter that I lost.

Does anyone know where I can get an adapter similar to the one that came with my ASUS V-6600 deluxe video card? Please let me know.

Thanks,
Ryan Lovelady

This cable is a small cable...about 3 inches long. One end has a female RCA style connector. The other end has a male S-Video connector. For example...it is used to connect a camcorder to the S-video input of my video card.

I found one such device on the page below...it just seems to be way to much money.

The Radioshack cable doesn't sound like it is a converter, but that may be it. I will check into it tomorrow. But Mr. Bond...The cable you found looks like it is the right one except it is for going from S-Video out of a DVD decoder card to RCA output so it can connect to a television. I found that out today because I tried to use a cable just like that one...it came with a Hollywood Plus DVD decoder card. They just aren't bi-directional is the only problem.
