Question I lost my audio output on my ThinkPad x201, 8 gb ram, windows 10, about a week ago and haven't got it restored.

I'm mobile for awhile so I've not had access to my tools meaning my 6 other thinkpads, my library and tools. Usually these problems are traced to a switch that I've bumped, but I've checked and found no solutions. Thanks for any and all assistance. I'm working on my email so I must take advice here. uberman

Hello. It sure has been rough livining without sound. I poked around on Google and conversed with a few friends and fixed it. My research told me that several picked up the problem while working with youtube, as did I. Links for the curious.
This entered on duck, duck, go. thinkpad troubleshooting no audio, no sound., brought my answers.
