how should i safely pack my motherboard since i lost my anti static bag?

just check your local mom and pop shop for a static bag... I'm sure they have oodles available..

Make sure you're on a carpet while you're packing too.
HAving a few ballons around will help too.

Well if were going that route, i would do the following.

Wrap the mobo in a thick coating of plastic wrap, then encase the mobo and wrap in a mold of jello.

Get a Big Bag of potato chips and first eat them, then put the motherboard inside, make sure the potato chips bag has a metalic look inside.
