Then Dodge can put the 6.4L SRT8 engine in the Durango for the test...

Since you are inventing combos that don't exist.

Te EB Flex can tow 4500#

This is a realistic combo based on the current platform which is likely to come out in the near future. I haven't heard of any plans for an SRT8 Durango.

I think that was the point they were trying to make, the Durango's optional engine is much more powerful than anything you can get in the explorer.

Yes as you can also spend 20 thousand more, so the dues what?
They need to do the same class. Heck you can shoe horn a big block 454 into an S-10 but that doesnt mean its better than a Ranger.

I don't think it's a contest anyway.

EB Flex 3.5T 355HP/350TQ Tows 4,500#

Durango 5.7L 360HP/390TQ Curb weight over 5,000#

Funny commercial, but if I really wanted to tow something, I wouldn't buy a new Ford Explorer or Dodge Durango anyways.

ya, it would be better. stock id take the s-10 over a ranger. 454 in it? id run that thing till it fell apart or i smashed sideways into heavy objects with it
