It is a long story, but I live with a bunch of women.
Not as great as it might sound.
For some reason, unknown to me, they like to install crap on their PCs that, make them run crappier.

Have you ever had to nicely explain to someone that their computer sucks because they install a bunch of crap onto it? I think I can do that.

How about explaining it to someone who doesn't even know that their computer is running crappy? Can it be done? I have not said anything about it to them. The PC's are theirs, so I suck it up and am thankful they let me use them. It sucks however. I can only see about half the monitor because they have 4 "toolbars" installed on the browser, each one taking up more space. WTF? How do people NOT see the problem? The problem is me. I need to set up my PC, but it is in storage. Anyway, have you ever successfully explained to someone all this stuff you have installed makes your PC slower, AND half of it is a quasi virus. How do you explain that? I mean, it is not a virus really, because people knowingly install it, but it mines data and sends it to someone doesn't it?

The way I explain it to people is like this

'You're an idiot, I am not. You are not qualified to determine if your computer is working correctly, I am. You say everything is fine, I disagree. Give me a day to safely backup your data and clean your system out, and then you will know what I am talking about.'

This is of course assuming that you have a day to devote to this and one of them can also sacrfice a day.

Afaik, Tattoodle is a facebook related application, and an annoying one really. It contains a couple of trojans along with it that can cause headaches. I would say the best option is to download Malwarebytes, update it and let it scan the computer to get rid off all the crap. :)

Obligatory "Nuke it from orbit". And yes I have to deal with this problem more often that I wish, for close family at least I have cloned system images I can just restore quickly. Saves allot of hassle.

But, I can't date people who have no common sense.
Nobody said anything about marrying or giving them an engagement ring. Do what I do, tell them "Yes I'll fix your computer - again - but the next time is going to cost you. I accept sexual favors in lieu of cash."

That seems to work, I never hear back from them again.

On edit: Just talk them into letting you create your own user account/profile then password protect it. That way you can setup like you want it.
